Moose Jaw group asking for one more chance to find arena sponsor

Moose Jaw city council today will re-visit a decision they made a couple of weeks ago to hire a company to negotiate renaming rights to the building currently known as Mosaic Place.
On June 13th, council voted to spend $29,000 to have Performance Sponsorship Group approach companies. They would then also get a commission as part of the arrangement.
But that contract will be in abeyance until a local group that approached council will have a couple more months to make efforts with local companies and organizations, if council follows the recommendation from city administration at today’s meeting.
