The latest weather stats show May was a record setting month for rainfall in parts of eastern Saskatchewan.
Yorkton had its wettest May in 114 years of records at 138 millimeters, 269 percent above the normal of 51 millimeters.
Regina had 60 millimeters, about 16 percent above normal for May.
Environment Canada meteorologist Terri Lang says the spring was cooler than normal but precipitation varied.
She says the Regina temperature for the March, April, May period was 2.1 degrees, about 1.7 degrees below normal, while spring moisture was below normal in Regina and Swift Current but above normal in Yorkton and Estevan.
Regina had 74 millimeters in the 3 month period, 23 percent below normal, while Estevan had 180 millimeters or 76 percent above normal.
