Saskatchewan residents have the chance to speak their mind about COVID-19 public health measures through a series of surveys developed at the University of Saskatchewan.
People can fill out the surveys through an app on their phone, which will help guide the province’s strategy for future outbreaks.
People using the location data feature will help researchers understand trends and movement pattern of specific population.
The developers of the app say location information can provide a lot of information without being invasive.
The study will be open to any adult in Saskatchewan with access to a smartphone or computer, between the months of June and October.
Participants will complete two surveys centered around mask use practices, social contacts, and viewpoints around the COVID-19 vaccine.
USask says the findings of the survey will be published and shared with Saskatchewan residents.
