The Regina Police Service has charged a man with second-degree murder related to a 2022 homicide.

33-year-old Forrester Jade Windigio of Regina, who was wanted for second-degree murder, was located and taken into custody.

It was back on October 12, 2022 that police were dispatched to the Regina General Hospital for a report of an unknown man in the hospital with wounds consistent with an assault.

34-year-old Bryant Thayne Starr passed away in the hospital two weeks later.

Windigio made his first court appearance in Provincial Court Tuesday afternoon.
