Canadian exporters shipped another 477 thousand tons of wheat during the first week of this month.
SaskWheat market analyst Michael Wilton says wheat shipments total 8.6 million tons since the start of the crop year August first, 66 percent more than last year.
Wilton suggests farmers consider selling another quarter of their spring wheat at 12 dollars a bushel.
Wilton says durum wheat exports total 2.1 million tons so far this crop year, 76 percent above last year’s drought-reduced crop.
He says durum bids this week are unchanged at about 13 dollars 70 cents a bushel.
