Saskatchewan Roughriders ball-hawk defensive back Nick Marshall has re-signed with the Green and White for a one year contract extension.
Financial terms were not announced by the team.
Marshall is the all-time Rider team leader in touchdown returns after interceptions with five.
Last season, Marshall played 16 games, getting 24 defensive tackles, five knockdowns and four interceptions.
Earlier in his Riders career, in 2018, Marshall also took on short yardage quarterback duties, scoring seven touchdowns on 18 carries.
Marshall spent two seasons at Auburn University, going as a starting quarterback to the BCS Championship Game in 2014 with the Tigers.
