As we move closer to Christmas it appears Saskatchewan residents might be getting an early present – sliding fuel prices for the month of December.
Fuel analysis site gasbuddy.com shows that the average price of regular gas in Saskatchewan is down 23.3 c/L from last month – with the average fuel price sitting at 1.41 c/L.
Some stations in Regina have fuel as low as 1.33 a liter.
The lowest gas price in the province currently is in Lloydminster where the average price for regular gas is $129.9 c/L a full 11 cents cheaper than the provincial average.
Notably Saskatchewan sits a full cent above the national average – and market analysts say the decline will be short lived due to several global factors.
