Regina councillors taking city manager to court see court date set

A motion filed against the City of Regina’s city manager appeared before a judge on Tuesday.

Councillor Dan LeBlanc and Councillor Andrew Stevens, and Florence Stratton filed a court application against new City Manager Niki Anderson for not including full funding to end homelessness in the city’s proposed budget.

Both parties will have to file written arguments and evidence by December 7. Any material in reply is to be filed by December 9.

Arguments are scheduled to be held on December 13 at 10:00 a.m., just one day before the budget deliberations.
