To honour the brave men and women who have fought and died in wars across the world, Regina is hosting its Remembrance Day ceremonies this morning.
The Regina Royal Canadian Legion is holding a Remembrance Day ceremony at the Brandt Centre.
The doors will open to the public at 9 a.m. and will hold as many people as they can fit.
People are expected to be seated by 10 a.m. and the program begins at 10:30 and will continue until 11:45.
Parking will be available.
There will also be a ceremony at the cenotaph in Victoria park.
It’ll start with a march from the legion office at 10:45 a.m. and then will go into the moment of silence at 11 a.m.
Members of the public are welcome to lay their own personal wreaths at the cenotaph for the ceremony.
Residents can then either take their wreaths home or leave them at the cenotaph and the legion will properly dispose of them.
