Busy early Saturday morning for Regina Police Service

It was a busy early morning Saturday for the Regina Police Service

An 18-year-old man tried to cross Ring Road near Winnipeg Street at about 1:10 a.m. Saturday but was struck be a vehicle.
The man was taken to hospital with what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.
Investigation determined that the male had come from the ditch to cross an unlit area of Ring Road, and was struck by the vehicle.
The driver was not impaired and there are no charges expected.

Then, an erratic Regina driver without vehicle lights, rear-ended a police vehicle at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning on Dewdney Avenue near some of the city’s night clubs.
The police car, which was unable to move at the time, stopped near Lorne Street and the driver of the vehicle behind them hit the police car.
The driver was uninjured but was arrested. Breath samples were taken and they were over 0.08.
The 22-year-old driver, Coleden Trey Bagwell, was charged with impaired driving.
He was released and will appear in provincial court on the charges
