September was both warm and dry with numerous temperature records set towards the end of the month.

For Regina, the September mean temperature was just under 15 degrees, 3 degrees above normal.
For Moose Jaw, the mean temperature last month was 15.6 degrees, again 3 degrees higher than average.
It was also quite dry with most locations having a top 20 dry September.
Regina had 8.5 millimeters of rain or 26 percent of normal, the 19th driest in 129 years.
Moose Jaw had 4.6 milimeters of rain last month, only 14 percent of normal and the 11th driest on record.
Lang also pointed out the late frost this fall.
Lang also tallied up the number of tornadoes this year.
She says there were a total of 25 in Saskatchewan, which was the largest number in ten years.
