Moderna bivalent vaccine available to all over 18 starting Thursday

The Bivalent vaccine is going to be available for people in Saskatchewan over the age of 18 starting tomorrow.
The Moderna bivalent vaccine is available through Saskatchewan Health Authority booking or by walk in clinics, or participating pharmacies.
The province reminds people that it’s a booster dose only, and if you’ve had COVID-19 recently, it should be taken three months post-infection for the best immune response.

The province said in a media release that “if you require either your first or second dose at this time, you can receive all other Health Canada-approved vaccines as your primary series.”
