A 13-year-old girl has been charged with multiple offences, after Friday’s gun incident at F.W. Johnson School in east Regina.
The female can not be named, because of her age.
She is facing several charges including two counts of assault with a weapon, possession of weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon.
F.W. Johnson, and several neighbouring elementary schools were put into safety modes to protect students.
Two young people were arrested near the school Friday, and the weapon that was believed to have been used was recovered. It was an “air soft” gun.
She made her first appearance in provincial court Monday morning.
