Century Regina. Tonight’s matchup will be the 100th time, the Saskatchewan Roughriders will host the BC Lions in Regina. All time, the Riders own a 53-44-2 record at home against BC.

All Green Last Year. In 2021, the two teams met twice with the Riders sweeping the season series.

Eight Straight. Saskatchewan currently holds an eight game winning streak over the Lions. Last time BC beat the Riders in Regina was July 12, 2014.

Bumps in the Road. Over their last 18 games, the Riders have been swept on three occasions over their last 18 games (Tor, Wpg, Cgy), in the other 12 games, the green and white record is 10-2.

Staying Home in the Summer. Today’s game is only the second time this season, BC has played a road game in 2022.

Fast Start in BC. The Lions are trying to improve to 5-1 which would make it their best start since 2007, that year BC ended up with a 14-3-1 record.

Rushing Attacks. Saskatchewan leads the league in total yards rushing (797) while the Lions are number in rushing yards per game (120.8).

Ball Hawks .Three of the five players tied for the lead in interceptions will be playing tonight. (Nick Marshall, Derrick Moncrief, Garry Peters)

Slow Start.  Saskatchewan has only averaged 3.3 points in the first quarter this season.

Home Cooking. Over their last 20 home games since the beginning of the 2019 season, the Riders have a home record of 16-4.

No Place Like Home for Fajardo. As a starting quarterback, Cody Fajardo has a home record of 15-3. That is #3 all time in the CFL for winning percentage (.833%) behind Dave Dickenson(.842%) and Jeff Garcia (.839%).
