— It ain’t close.  The Saskatchewan Roughriders have been involved in a contest that has been decided by four or less points in the 2022 season.

— Playing Ahead  The Riders have a perfect record (3-0) when leading after the 2nd quarter, and the 3rd quarters.

Taking it Away. The green and white defence have forced 20 turnovers this season which ranks first in the CFL.

Going Deep. Saskatchewan is tied for first for the most amount of 30 yard passing plays this season.

The Stop Zone. Toronto is last in the CFL at scoring % inside of the red zone (inside of the 20 yard line) at 27.3%.

Roadblock. Saskatchewan is number at stopping the run league, last week the Riders held Andrew Harris to 39 yards rushing.

— Riders offence ranked last in the CFL when faced with 2nd and medium (4-6) 36.7%, the offence is fifth at 2nd and long (7+) 31.6%

Plenty of Laundry.  The green and white lead the league in penalties at 68.

Double Blue Slow to Start. Toronto has only scored four points in the first quarter in their first four games this season and have been shutout in the opening quarter over their last three games.

Picking Up Steam. Over the last three games, Riders running back Jamal Morrow has averaged 6.0 yards rushing

Schaffer-Baker is Cooking. Kian Schaffer-Baker has caught 25 passes over the last four games for Saskatchewan.

Constant Cody. Cody Fajardo has started 35 out of the last 37 games for the Roughriders. The two games Fajardo missed were season ending games that had little or no playoff implications.
