The Regina Police Service has charged a 26-year-old Regina man with a pair of recent robberies and the theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.
The RPS’s stolen auto unit saw a parked vehicle in the 1400 block of Rae Street matching the description of a stolen vehicle, and watched a male enter the vehicle and drive it away.
Police arrested the driver without incident a short time later, who was also wanted on a warrant in connection to a June 28th robbery at a business in the 800 block of East Arcola Avenue.
Dakota Cree Netmaker was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, posession of stolen property over $5.000, two counts of robbery and breach of probation.
Netmaker made his first apperance on the charge Thursday afternoon in provincial court.
