Two Regina men have been arrested for alleged fentanyl and cocaine trafficking.
After a three-month investigation, members of the Regina Police Service executed a search warrant on June 18 of a vehicle and a residence on E. Haughton Road.
In the search, police found over 14 thousand dollars in Canadian currency, almost 40 grams of fentanyl, a large plastic bag with cocaine residue inside, and other items indicative of drug trafficking.
26-year-old Lazarus Teny and 29-year-old Daniel Drie Atem, both of Regina, are charged with:
- Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking,
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking,
- Possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000,
Both made their first court appearances in Provincial Court on Monday.
