The days are ticking down towards the Saskatchewan NDP’s leadership convention in Regina.

Tonight, there is another opportunity for the party faithful to hear from the two candidates directly in a debate at the Connexus Arts Centre at 7:00 pm.

MLA Carla Beck will debate Metis lawyer Kaitlyn Harvey.

There are just a few more events for the candidates, as the campaigns wind down and the party makes final preparations for the leadership vote Sunday, June 26th.

Beck and Harvey are looking to replace Ryan Meili who announced he was stepping down as leader earlier this year after an NDP loss in a by-election to the Sask Party.

In the coming days there are a few more events where people can hear from the candidates about their vision for the future of the party, and the province.
