Three people are facing charges after they stole a dog on Wednesday.

Police were called to a residence in the 1200 block of McTavish Street after the three had broken into a home, assaulted the female inside, and left with her dog.

An investigation led police to a home in the 1200 Block of Argyle Street, where they located two suspects and the dog.

As a result. one man and one woman were charged with robbery, with youth also being charged with robbery.

All three made their first court appearances in Regina Provincial Court on May 26.
