A second person has been charged after a homicide in late 2021.

36-year-old Nigel Franklin Cheslock is charged with first-degree murder concerning the death of 24-year-old Morgan Blind.

These charges are after 37-year-old Percy Bernard Pascal was charged with first-degree murder on December 23.

It was on December 21 of last year that Regina Police and Fire were dispatched at 10:50 a.m. to the 1400 block of Cameron Street for a report of a house fire.

After extinguishing the fire, firefighters discovered a deceased person. An investigation by police determined the death to be the result of homicide.

Cheslock appeared in Regina Provincial Court Wednesday morning.
