Cooler Days ahead, but Mother’s Day Looks Nice

After Thursday’s weather had everyone dreaming about summer, the rain over the next couple of days should remind us, it’s still spring.

Temperatures have cooled off a bit and some rain is expected.

Environment Canada’s Terri Lang says the weather cooled off after the “jet stream” moved to the south, pulling in cooler air from the north, and some moist air from the west.

The good news is the forecast for Mother’s Day on Sunday has improved.  After looking cloudy and cool, the latest forecast has Mother’s Day looking like it will be sunny and warm, with a high of 19.

As for next week, a “Colorado Low is expected to push up from the south, and that could bring more grey skies, and rain.
