With winter appearing to be over, a new season is set to begin in Saskatchewan, highway construction season.

North of Regina, the Highway 11 overpass will begin construction today. Drivers that travel on Highway 6 north out of the city or driving south into the city will experience delays.

The level of the overpass will be raised by a metre.

There will be signage posted to notify drivers about possible delays along with reduced speeds, as well motorists are asked to use alternative routes if possible.
