Careful where you park today. The city is unleashing its fleet of street sweepers on major roads to clear away the leaves, sand, and debris left behind from a long winter.
The city is focusing on major streets like Albert, Broad, and Arcola. They will also hit the downtown area, including Cathedral.
There should be signs out warning you not to park on the street as the sweepers come through.
People who remain on the street could get a ticket for 120 dollars, and their vehicle could be towed.
The city also offers a notification on your smart phone that will give you the head’s up on when the sweepers will be rolling into your neighbourhood.
You can get more details on that from the City of Regina’s website.
