Power almost fully restored in southeast Saskatchewan

Restoration efforts are continuing from SaskPower in the southeast as the area recovers from the winter storm on the weekend.

As of Wednesday morning, 300 residences are still without power. SaskPower is hoping to have everyone back online by Wednesday night.

As the third day of repairs wrapped up, SaskPower reported 1,150 homes had power restored.

SaskPower have been receiving a helping hand from local farmers who have aided in towing power line equipment through the muddy fields.

There may be additional power outages over the next few days in the southeast as permanent work is being done to the grid
