Some services still lost in the southeast

The southeast section of Saskatchewan is still left to deal with the aftermath of the winter storm that ripped through the area on the weekend.

As of 8:00  on Sunday night, power was restored for about 12,000 customers including the communities of Manor, Oxbow, Carnduff, Carievale, Gainsborough, and Arcola.

Around another 12,000 customers remain without power including in the communities in Frobisher, White Bear, Redvers and Storthoaks.

SaskPower has brought in workers around the province to help restore power as 35 crews containing 182 technicians will be on hand in the area on Monday to restore power.

Sasktel has also saw a lost of services due to the snowstorm.

As of Sunday night, some communities were without Internet and Phone services included Carlyle, Kenosee Lake, Kisbey, and Redvers.

Crews are working to restore services, but may not be able to do so until the power is fully restored to the area.

Sasktel adds additional communities may lose their services if power is not fully restored to the area in the near future.
