A pair of local men are facing charges after an incident on Monday morning.

Police received a report of an injured man at a home on the 1500 block of Robinson Street.

A suspect was located a short time later.

Police also located a second suspect in the basement of the home who appeared to have illegal drugs and paraphernalia used for drug trafficking. The suspect was identified as a man who had conditions to possess drugs.

26 year old Adam Deschambault has been charged with an assault with a weapon. He appeared in court on Monday.

22 year old Troy Cardinal is facing a charge of a substance for the purpose of trafficking. He was released on conditions and will appear in court on June 8.
