Southern Saskatchewan cleans up from snow storm

Ice still covered highways across southern Saskatchewan almost two days after a blizzard hit the southeast.

Travel not recommended advisories were removed – as was the closure of the Trans Canada Highway east of Moosomin – Friday morning.

City crews in Regina are at work Friday morning and afternoon clearing the late-season snow that caused havoc on peoples’ Easter weekend travel plans.

Snow routes are in effect in the city of Regina until 6 a.m. Saturday.
The city said vehicles that are parked on the streets with those symbols during the temporary parking ban will be ticketed.
