Police arrest Regina man after firearm investigation

A recent firearms investigation has led to a Regina man facing numerous charges.

Last week, officers executed a search warrant on a residence on Rothwell Crescent in the city’s Northeast end. Officer located illegal firearms and ammunition inside the residence and in a garage on the property, with one of the firearms being reported stolen in Alberta.

Forty-one-year-old Chad Rogers was arrested without incident during the search and charged with:

  • 2x Store a Prohibited Firearm in a Careless Manner
  • 2x Possess a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • 2x Unauthorized Possession of a firearm
  • 3x Possession of a Firearm/Ammunition While Prohibited
  • Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime

Rogers will make his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on May 25.
