Hop on over to an “egg-citing” event at Government House

This Saturday Government house is getting ready to host Regina Families for the annual Easter egg hunt.

“The event is a government house tradition- and a fun way to spend time the historic facility and learn about Saskatchewan’s  past,” the minister responsible for the Provincial Capital Commission Don McMorris said. “I encourage everyone to consider making this “egg-citing” event a part of their Easter weekend,” the minister continued.

The Easter Egg hunt will be outside in the Edwardian Gardens. All hunters will receive an Easter basket to collect their eggs and a chocolate treat.

The event is free and will run for 10am to noon and again from 1 to 3pm on Saturday April 16th.

Government house was built in 1891 and was once the residence of the Lieutant Governor of the North West Territories.
