SaskPower still working on remaining power lines in southwest

About 138 SaskPower customers remain without power in the southwestern part of the province after a storm knocked down poles and lines last week.
SaskPower said in a media release Saturday night that more than 600 power poles and 750 replacement crossarms have been sent to the Maple Creek area since the beginning of the repair effort.
They said Eagle Valley Campground is expected to have its power back today at 5 p.m. and the trailer park south of maple creek is expected to be back on tonight at 10 p.m.

“It’s possible that some individual customers may be restored outside these ETRs,” SaskPower said in the release. “If any of these customers have health or safety concerns related to the length of their outage, they are encouraged to reach out to their local community administration.”
