RCMP on the lookout for missing hockey memorabilia

On Sunday, the Atahkakoop RCMP received a report of stolen of hockey memorabilia that was taken sometime between November 2021 and March 2022.

The items were temporarily stored inside of a rural yard.

Memorabilia collectors who have purchased Wayne Gretzky items since November from an online buy and sell site with a suspicious transaction, should report it to the police.

Some of the items reported stolen include:

• 19 Wayne Gretzky jerseys, autographed
• large Wayne Gretzky pictures and large painting, all autographed
• autographed sticks
• autographed pucks all in display cases
• close to 10,000 cards including 2,200 of Wayne Gretzky, some autographed and one framed Gretzky Rookie Card PSA 8
• 1979 Mattel dolls still in boxes
• Figurines, some autographed
• Team Canada autographed photos
• Among other items
