It’s back to weekly garbage pickup for Regina residents.

If you are unsure of what items are supposed to go inside of the Brown cart, you visit the Waste Wizard Tool on the City’s website.

Household garbage and the things that can not be recycled are the main items for inside of the brown cart.

Everyone should have their cart ready for collection by 7:30 of the morning of pickup and no earlier than 6:00 the prior evening. The brown carts are asked to be removed from the street no later than midnight of the day after pickup.

You are also asked to leave at least a metre space around your cart to allow for access for the collection trucks.

Residents are also reminded to bundle their waste items inside of the cart, make sure the lid of the cart is closed and ensure that the cart is not overfilled and there are no loose items on the ground.

Everyone is are reminded to practice the three R’s Reduce, Reuse and Recycle whenever possible.
