Spring Home Show returned in 2022 with a flourish

One of the first major trade shows post-pandemic is now in the books, as the Regina Spring Home Show was held over the weekend for the first time since 2019.
The Spring Home Show was on hiatus in 2020 and 2021 during the pandemic, as gathering restrictions took a bite out of their market. Stu Niebergall, CEO and president of the Regina and Region Home Builders Association, said things were fabulous over the three day show that just ended over the weekend.
“The crowds may not have been quite as large as they were in 2019, but they were very close, so we were very pleased with that,” he said.
This year was the 44th annual version of the home show. Niebergall said a lot of business took place during the weekend and it felt like there was a lot of pent-up demand from both the public and the distributors.
“We got lots of great feedback, from the exhibitors, whether they were builders, renovators, landscape contractors, all the great gadgets you can find at a trade show like ours, so it was really great to see people from the greater Regina area back,” he said.
