Regina Pats and Partners raise $180,000 for Local Charities

Times are tough for charities, and others who try to perform good, helpful work in the city.

The Regina Pats teamed up with Brandt Industries to offer up an opportunity for their game partners to raise money for the charity of their choice.

For example, Sherwood Co-Op and Enbridge worked together to raise $40,000 for the Regina Food Bank.

GFL Environmental and Richie Brothers Auctions teamed up, and raised 50 thousand dollars for STARS Air Ambulance.

In the end, $180,000 was raised for numerous charities in Regina.

“Coming out of the pandemic, it’s been challenging for local organizations to fundraise. With Brandt’s support, collectively our partner’s raised $180,000 that will feed our neighbours, offer shelter to women and children, open doors for youth mentorship opportunities and support STARS in purchasing their next helicopter,” says Pats COO, Trevor Buhnai said in a news release to 620 CKRM.

“What a remarkable impact we made together”.
