Fees and charges for some of the services the province offers will be going up in April.
The province announced that hunting, trapping and fishing license fees will be going up by $5 in most cases, with corresponding increases to Canadian resident and non-resident fees.
Fines for stunting and street racing also went up from $175 to $580 for stunting, and $150 to $580 for street racing.
The province announced hikes in gravel permit fees, oversight fees for funerals and cremation, cottage land lease fees and cannabis application and annual permit fees.
With these and other changes, the province is anticipating about $2.7 million in additional revenue in 2022-2023.
