Charges were laid in an alleged robbery that took place in Regina a couple of days ago.

A male entered the business on the 1800 block of Scarth Street at 4 p.m. Friday and staff said the man demanded money.

He didn’t get any money and exited the business. Police attended the area and arrested a man matching the description and Joshua Nippi, 22 of Regina, was taken into custody without incident.

Nippi will appear in provincial court Monday, charged with robbery, uttering threats, obstruction, failure to comply with a condition of a release order, breach of probation and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
