Three people sent to hospital following rollovers: Craik RCMP

Bad road conditions led to Craik RCMP responding to several rollovers of passenger vehicles, and semi’s on Highway 11.

Three people were sent to the hospital after being involved in accidents between Davidson and Craik on the highway.

Craik RCMP Detachment Commander Sergeant Robb Karaim said that people should be careful.

“The roads are too slippery; there is no time to react. If you are on the road, please think of slowing down considerably in order to drive with care. If you see emergency vehicles, slow down, even more to let them pass safely. If you are in the ditch, please be patient; tow trucks are currently working at maximum capacity.”

Currently, the Highway Hotline shows winter driving conditions in almost all provinces, with roads around Swift Current showing travel not recommended.
