WHL puts pause on Brandon Wheat kings – forcing cancelation of Jan 21st Pats game

The January 21st, 2022 showdown between the Brandon Wheat Kings and the Regina Pats has been cancelled.

The Brandon Wheat Kings had all on and off ice activities put on pause after players exhibited symptoms and tested positive for COVID-19.

The game was originally slated to be broadcast on TSN as part of the CHL on TSN.

No word on a future return to Regina for the CHL on TSN.

The Kelowna Rockets were also paused by the league due to COVID-19 protocols.
