Youth charged after string of robberies at same location

Three robberies of the exact location by one individual have resulted in a slew of charges.

A 16-year-old was handed ten charges after robbing a convenience store on the 1700 block of Dewdney Avenue, successfully fleeing with money and merchandise on two of those locations.

Early yesterday morning, police were dispatched once again to the report of a similar armed robbery, where the suspect fled.

The Regina Police Service Canine Unit located the suspect, a 16-year-old male, in a nearby yard, where he was arrested.

A search warrant was conducted on the male’s residence, and evidence related to the three incidents was seized.

The male is charged with ten charges, including two counts of robbery and robbery with a firearm.
