Regina man and woman charged for breaking and entering

A man and woman are facing break and enter charges after an incident on Sunday morning.

Regina Police were dispatched to the intersection of 6th Avenue and Wallace Street at 8:30 am on a report of a break and enter at a residence.

Police arrived at the scene along with a service dog and announced their attention, after no response, police entered the home. After a search, police located the man and woman hiding in the basement with the police service dog biting the woman.

The woman was found to be in possession of break and entering tools which are believed to have been used to gain entry into the home.

Both suspects were taken into custody and both were found to have active warrants for which they were arrested.

38 year old Jonas Wesaquate and 34 year old Miranda Pasqua both of Regina are facing charges of breaking and entering and failing to comply with condition of release order.

They made their first court appearance on Tuesday morning.
