Province adds 1954 to Covid-19 case count in first 3 days of 2022

After a brief pause in number reporting for the last 4 days today the province is reporting 1954 new cases of Covid 19 in the Province, with 326 new cases being reported today alone.

637 of the new cases reported since the beggining of 2022 are of the Omicron Variant.

Of todays new cases 65 are in the Saskatoon region and 79 are in the Regina area.

There are 95 hospitalized cases due to COVID-19 including 11 in ICU.

Sadly 5 new deaths – bringing the death toll to 960.

On the vaccine front there were 3882 doses administered yesterday including 2539 Individuals who are now fully vaccinated.
