There are 589 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan.

Of those new cases 242 are in the Saskatoon region and 137 are in the Regina area.

There are 79 hospitalized cases due to COVID-19 including 14 in ICU.

4 more have died due to COVID-19 increasing the death toll to 955.

On the vaccine front there were 1751 doses administered yesterday including 1098 Individuals who are now fully vaccinated.

Omicron cases are on the rise in the province and  rampant in the Province’s major cities. With 345 probable cases in the Regina zone; and 383 probable cases in the Saskatoon zone – no one with Omicron has been hospitalized to date.
