Regina zone moving back to level one restrictions for long term care homes

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has announced that effective 8:00 a.m. Thursday, long-term care homes in the Regina zone are moving to level one restrictions.

That means residents or patients in affected homes can only have two designated family members or support people visit, at separate times.

The SHA says the decision was because of the increased risk of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant.

People are encouraged to limit gatherings as much as possible, continue to physical distance and wear masks where required.
