The Regina Police Service is informing motorists of extremely icy conditions in the City.

RPS said that officers have currently responded to upwards of 10 collisions on the Ring Road. They are advising motorists to avoid driving on Ring Road and, if they must, they ask that they slow down and use extreme caution, especially in areas where our officers and other first responders are working to assist motorists.

Roads are looking like they might get even worse, as Environment Canada is currently predicting a 60 percent chance of flurries with a risk of freezing rain later tonight.
