67 New Cases of Covid-19 in the Province today

The Saskatchewan government reported 67 cases of COVID-19 in the province today.

29 cases are reported in the Saskatoon area, 13 in the Regina zone, and 4 in the South East region.

17 of the new cases are of the Omicron variant. To date there are 82 cases of the variant in the province.

98 hospitalized cases due to COVID-19 with 31 in ICU.

The active case count is down to 556 with 75 recoveries.

On the vaccine front there were 770 doses issued including 429 individuals becoming fully vaccinated.

There is 1 death to report bringing the total to 943.
