Death Investigation underway after Regina Fire crews locate body in home

A death investigation has been launched, after a body was found inside of a home after a fire Thursday morning.

Regina Police are Fire were called to the 1400 block of Cameron Street, in the city’s north central district just before 11:00 a.m..

The blaze was quickly brought under control, crews found the body while searching the house afterwards.

In a release, RPS. say the deceased person has been identified, but their information will not be made public until next-of-kin has been notified.

No other details are available at this time.
