Two more COVID-19 deaths in Saskatchewan along with 48 new cases

48 new cases and two new deaths.   Those are the COVID-19 numbers coming from the province on Wednesday.

The new cases are located in the Far North West (1), North West (6), North Central (3), Saskatoon (12), Central East (8), Regina (8), South Central (2), and South East (6) zones and two (2) new cases have pending residence information.

The two deaths bring the provincial total to 936.

The active case count is now at 609 with 93 of those cases in Regina.  The number has not been that low since August 6.

There are 124 people in hospital including 31 who are in the ICU.

Almost 2,300 people received a vaccine on Tuesday with almost 1,600 of those being first doses,
