Despite a freeze thaw cycle due to warm weather and then some freezing rain late Tuesday morning, Regina Police say they only responded to nine collisions from Monday at midnight to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon
Three of those collisions involved injuries and one was a hit and run, according to police.
RPS. added all the details around each collision aren’t know at this time, but said that for 17 hours of winter driving, nine is a fairly low number.
That freeze thaw cycle could continue on Wednesday, with Regina expected to reach a high of 8C.
Meanwhile, Freezing Rain Warnings are in place for parts of east central Saskatchewan, early Wednesday morning.
