More than one hundred foreign visitors have already registered to visit this week’s Canadian Western Agribition show in Regina.
CEO Chris Lane says the numbers are down a bit from two years ago but that is to be expected because of travel restrictions across the globe due to the coronavirus.
Lane says foreign buyers visit the show to improve their cattle genetics.
He says there is interest from buyers in such places as the U.K., Singapore, Norway, the U.S. and Argentina.
Agribition is hosting 12 national cattle shows this week as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations.
Agribition wraps up Saturday.
