After 14 years as the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce CEO, Steve McClellan is retiring.
McClellan has served as the Chamber’s CEO since 2007, and has decided it was time to spend more time with his family.
McClellan said he appreciates all of the people he has worked with over the years.
“They dedicate many hours and use their business expertise for the benefits of many across the province,” he said. “I’m proud of the commitment our board and committee members have shown, and I’m proud of the fact that the business community has continued to support our events and provide us with insight when we do something right, and equal insight when we do something wrong, McClellan said.
While a search for a new CEO will start, McClellan will stay in his post until late January.
